'Hanuman Jyanti' as an auspicious day, booked the car yesterday

With Nano up for grabs and with the company claiming it is within everyone's reach, a cobler in Mumbai has booked the Nano, the world's cheapest car, which costs a little over a lakh. With Thursday being the first day of booking, one unexpected guest at the doorstep of Concorde Motors (India) Ltd showroom in Prabhadevi was a cobbler from Mulund, who handed over the cheque amounting to Rs 1,40,000 to book the yellow sunshine Nano. Maruti Bhandare, a cobbler from Mulund, made a booking for the Nano lx, the high-end model.
After collecting the forms, customers have two options. They can either pay the entire booking amount themselves or seek financing of the booking amount.

Bhandare have not taken any loan to purchase the car instead saving the amount. A Lord Hanuman believer Bhandare, considering 'Hanuman Jyanti' as an auspicious day, booked the car yesterday.
The 42-year-old Bhandare has been saving money since last two years to purchase a motorbike.
After learning about the much affordable Nano car, he changed his mind and opted for the sleek and small car that best suits his family
